Get started

Setup takes about ten minutes and nothing about your existing phone changes.

1. Create your account

Name, email, and the plan you want. No phone number is needed at this stage.

2. Choose your public number

Search available numbers by area code in the portal and claim one. This is the number you will hand out.

3. Tell us where calls should go

Enter the number you actually answer. We send a verification link to your email to confirm it belongs to you before any call is forwarded to it.

4. Issue your first codes

Generate a code for each person or relationship. Give each one a label you will recognise later — “Angela”, “roofing contractor”, “Tuesday showing” — so the call log means something in six months.

5. Test it yourself

Call your own public number from another phone, enter a code, and listen to it connect. Then call again and enter the wrong code, so you know exactly what a stranger hears.

Already have a number you want to keep?

If the number you want to protect is already public — it has been on signs and listings for years — it can be ported in and become the gated number, while your carrier issues you a new private line for the handset. That is one port, not two, and the order matters: the new handset line goes live and is confirmed first. Ask us and we will walk it with you.
